Information

Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon was originally released in Japan onto both LD (Laserdisc) and VHS format. The first series was compiled into twelve volumes, most of which had four episodes on each disc. These discs are long out of print and very difficult to find, even in Japan. They are renown for their gorgeous coverart, which was illustrated by Kazuko Tadano, the character designer for the first and second series.

This LD can be found every once in a while on eBay, but it is becoming harder to find as the years pass. This, and all the series LDs, are truly a must-have for die hard Sailor Moon collectors.

Though the LDs were released individually in Japan, if one collected all the "Luna Seals" on the packages, he or she could send them in and get a special box for housing the LDs.
