Sailor Moon on DVD: classic
Sailor Moon classic was originally released onto DVD from May through July of 2002. If you were to preorder the final volume, it came with the special box that could be used to house all the volumes of the series.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the series, the DVDs were re-released into two collections in December of 2009 and January of 2010.
This release is simply a repackaging of the same individual DVDs, but costs less to own than buying each DVD separately. They consist of plastic cases that hold several DVDs and are housed in a cardstock
jacket.

Sailor Moon on LD
Sailor Moon was originally released on to LD (laserdisc) during its initial run on Japanese television. These discs are very hard to find and have been out of print for many years. If you were to purchase all 12 LDs and sent in the "Luna Seals" from each volume, you would receive a Moon Prism Power Box to hold all the LDs.
Sailor Moon on VHS
Sailor Moon was originally released on to VHS during its initial run on Japanese television from December 1992 to June 1994. The VHS seem to be rarer to come across than even the LDs, which was a popular video format in Japan for many years.
