The first volume of the Sailor Moon renewal manga was released simultaneously with volume 2. The most prominent changes made to this volume from the original edition is the new cover artwork and retouched interior art. There are six chapters instead of the original five. These chapters originally appeared in Nakayoshi between February and July of 1992.
