The first volume of the Sailor Moon Short stories renewal manga was released on August 23rd, 2004. The most prominent changes made to this volume from the original edition is the new cover artwork and retouched interior art. There are six short stories contained.

Chibiusa's Picture Diary 1: Beware of the Transfer Student! appeared in Run Run in July of 1993. Chibiusa's Picture Diary 2: Beware of the Tanabata! appeared in Run Run in July of 1994. Chibiusa's Picture Diary 3: Beware of Cavaties! appeared in Run Run in March of 1995.

Exam Battle 1: Mako-chan's Melancholy appeared in Run Run in May of 1995. Exam Battle 2: Ami-chan's First Love appeared in Run Run in July 1995. Exam Battle 3: Rei and Minako's Girls' School Battle!? appeared in Run Run in November of 1995.

Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon Extra Chapter: The Secret Hammer Price Hall appeared in Nakayoshi in August of 1995.

The second volume of the Sailor Moon Short stories renewal manga was released on September 22nd, 2004. The most prominent changes made to this volume from the original edition is the new cover artwork and retouched interior art. There are three short stories contained.

The Lover of Princess Kaguya originally appeared in a special edition manga book in November of 1994. It was later re-issued as book 11 in the original tankoubon pressing of Sailor Moon manga. Casablanca Memory was originally published in Run Run in September of 1993. Parallel Sailor Moon was printed for the first time in the Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon Materials Collection, released in October of 1999.
