Sailor Moon Video Releases: Movies DVDs
The Sailor Moon movies were initially released in a limited edition DVD box on March 21st, 2002. The set included all three theatrical releases along with their respective specials. This set also contained a fourth bonus disc which contains the Dreaming Moon live event. This is the only release of Dreaming Moon on DVD to date. The DVD box set also included miniature versions of the programs that were available at screenings of the movies in theatres.
A few years after the release of the DVD box, the movies were resold individually. The R movie came out on December 10th, 2004. The S movie followed four months later, on April 21st, 2005. The SuperS movie was then released on August 5th, 2005. The R and SuperS movies both include the Specials that aired alongside them in theatres.

Sailor Moon Movies and Specials on LD
The Sailor Moon movies were released on LaserDisc over the course of three years. Sailor Moon R The Movie released on July 21st, 1994, Sailor Moon S The Movie released on July 21st, 1995, and Sailor Moon SuperS The Movie released on July 21st, 1996.
On June 21st, 1994, one month before the video release of its movie counterpart, the Make Up! Sailor Guardians Special released with the Dreaming Moon live event special. The three Sailor Moon SuperS Specials were released on LD on May 21st, 1996. Finally, Ami-chan's First Love, the special that aired with the SuperS movie, was released to LD on September 8th, 1996.

Sailor Moon Movies and Specials on VHS
Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon R The Movie was released on VHS on September 21st, 1994, two months after the LD. The S Movie was released on VHS on August 11th, 1995, followed by the SuperS movie on August 9th, 1996.
The Make Up! Sailor Guardians and Dreaming Moon VHS was released on June 21st, 1994. The Sailor Moon SuperS Specials released on VHS on September 21st, 1996. Ami-chan's First Love was released on VHS on August 9th, 1996.
